The 2018 Toyota Pick-Up Truck Offers Off-Roading Capabilities

The 2018 Toyota Tacoma is a pick-up truck offering a large number of features, a large towing capacity and excellent off-roading capabilities. Available trim levels include the SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited and TRD Pro.

It comes equipped with a 2.7 liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 159 hp and 180 lb feet of torque. Buyers who want more power can opt for the 3.5 liter V6 engine with an output of 278 hp. Rear-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission is standard with the option of a manual transmission and four-wheel drive.

Towing capacity stands at 1,620 pounds with a maximum of 6,800 pounds. The Tacoma TRD edition comes with Terrain Select which offers five modes for different driving conditions. Buyers who want a truck with strong off-roading capabilities may want to opt for the TRD edition as it comes with off-road suspension, crawl control and standard four-wheel drive.

The Extended Cab models seat for passengers while the Double Crew offers room for five. Optional seating features include temperature controlled and leather appointed seats. Standard interior features include a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, a 6.1″ screen and an infotainment system. Available optional features include a power moonroof, satellite radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, a navigation system, HD radio and smartphone integration. Bed length size varies depending on the trim level selected.

Available safety features include brake assist, air bags, 4-wheel ABS, traction control, daytime running lights, ESC and front tow hooks.
